Why should I get a Business License?
All businesses operating within the Village of Fraser Lake require a valid Business License. Also, many individuals and/or businesses (including the Village of Fraser Lake) conduct business with only those who hold a valid business license.
Who is required to have a Business License?
If your Business operates within the Village of Fraser Lake, or you live outside the Village, and your business (contractor, door to door sales) is conducted within the Village of Fraser Lake, you are required to hold a Business License issued by the Village of Fraser Lake.
What is the Procedure for Obtaining a Business License?
Business License applications may be obtained in-person from the Village of Fraser Lake Office or online here. The application and fees are to be submitted prior to the start of operations. Submit applications in-person or via email to admin@fraserlake.ca
Note: the licensing year is January 1- December 31, but fees are prorated when starting a business after July 1st.
