DROP-IN CRAFT - Wednesday's 9 am to 12:30 pm

Ages 9 and up are welcome to drop in for a free craft morning at the Recreation Complex in the main entry. This event will be on July 25th, August 1st, 15th, 22nd and August 29th. 

 


 

ROLLER BALL HOCKEY - Tuesday and Thursday 7 pm - 8 pm

Come out for Free Roller Ball Hockey at the Recreation Complex Hard Surface to keep on your game.  Normal Hockey equipment required (roller blades instead of ice skates) to play/join.  Contact Zion Cruz if you require more information at 250-699-1167 or meet him at the Complex on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. This event will run until the end of September 2018.

 


 

PICKLE BALL - Monday, Wednesday and Friday's 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Pickle Ball is a racquet sport with a combination of tennis, Ping-Pong and badminton.  Anyone that joins tends to become a dedicated player!  This sport is fast becoming the sport to join!  Come out and give it a try at the Recreation Complex Hard Surface.  Ages 14 and up and bring your own equipment.  Contact Gary and Cecile Webb at 250-699-6426 or Dave and Lolly Sansom at 250-699-8860 for more information about this fun and challenging sport.  This event is free.

 


 

XPLORE ART - August 7th to August 10th 9 am to 12 pm

The workshop medium for each day is To Be Announced.  Please return to our page to find out the line-up of artists within the next few days.  Cost for this event is $75.00 and is restricted to age 9 and up to participate.  Maximum of 15 participants so please pre-register at the Village of Fraser Lake, 210 Carrier Crescent.  Contact LeEtta LaFontaine at 250-699-1065 if you require more information.   This event will be held at the Recreation Complex in the main entry.

McMillan Science Centre Program on Robotics

This year the theme is circuits, power and robotics. The focus will be on problem-solving, design challenges and exploration. How do we get robots to work and how do they help us explore space?

PLAYING WITH CLAY -Monday July 30th 9 am to noon

with Cathy Harder

Cathy is doing a workshop for ages 9 and up "Playing with Clay".  The cost for this event is $35.00 maximum 15 participants so please pre-register at the Village Office at 210 Carrier Crescent.   Cathy is supplying the clay; the children get to play and create their own pinch pot (free hand).  The creation will be fired after the class and arrangements made for the fired object to be picked up within a few days.  Contact LeEtta LaFontaine at 250-699-1065 if you require more information.  This event will be held at the Recreation Complex in the main entry.
